What I love about these salads is that the dressing at the bottom gives the veggies stacked above it SO much more delicious flavor!
The most frequent question I've gotten about these salads is "HOW do you eat it out of the jar!?" and while a very valid question, I really didn't think it looked that hard to do. I guess because these are the only jars I have, I never really thought of it as an issue. If you are looking to buy jars for salads-- and you want to eat them in the jar, the best ones to buy are the wide mouth jars! I linked below an example:

I started making jarred salads because I am always running around so BUSY! I wake up and I have so much to do, so I like to make a day of prepping my lunches, and breakfasts, and whatever else for the next few days.
If you've seen this video on Tik Tok, you might've been attracted to it's simplicity! I love an easy, simple, and delicious meal! I made three salads in MINUTES!
It tastes great, has so many nutrients, and is ready to eat from the jar, or if you like to pour yours into a bowl!
I added my salad dressing to the bottom which allowed the onion to absorb the vinegar, and gave them a pickled taste which I loved! I soon learned that the kale can be put at the bottom right on top of the dressing as it's is tough enough to soak in some delicious vinegar.
I like to pair this salad with a dinner as well, or a snack on the side.
Ingredients Needed:
3 Jars
Kale
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt
Pepper
Red Onion
Sliced Carrots
Cucumbers
Steamed Lentils
Instructions
In each jar add:
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
salt
pepper
1/2 cup red onion
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1 cup cucumber
1-2 cups massaged kale
1/2 cup steamed lentils
Place the lid on, and refrigerate!
Ready to eat WHENEVER :) Just shake and enjoy!
