Delicious, Simple & Crunchy Homemade Cereal

My love for air fryers is endless. I still laugh when I think about how I gave a speech at Harvard for my public speaking class discussing my air fryer and why everyone should buy one. My passion and love for my air fryer really showed as half the class purchased themselves one on amazon in the middle of my speech. And although I am quite persuasive, I can only assume that the air fried sweet potato fries that I gave out to taste as a testimonial is what really sealed the deal.

Years later, and I am still just as obsessed with air frying. My number one favorite part about the air fryer is how much time it saves. It's like a microwave in that it cooks things faster, but like a traditional fryer as it gives your food that deep fried crunch. My second favorite part is that while it gives your food this 'fried-like' crunch, it doesn't require all of the crazy amounts of oil that regular frying require : healthy, time saving, and so crunchy!

Not to mention, it is completely fool proof. Pop in your food, and with the click of a button it's completely cooked to perfection.

Recently I just upgraded to the greatest air fryer, a 4 in 1 Hauswirt Oven which is an oven, air fryer, rotisserie, and a dehydrator!

I added the link for you here & you can also save money using my code : 'MYPLANTOVEN' :)

Dehydrating is the part that I'm most excited about, mainly because I love meal prepping and this will be a game changer for my meal preps!

Today I've decided to make my own cereal using dehydrated fruit. I always loved Special K, but it's filled with so much extra sugar, so I'm making my own super simple, naturally sweetened, 6 ingredient homemade cereal using bananas, blueberries, strawberries, lemon, oats, and maple syrup.

It makes a perfect granola, cereal, salad topping, etc.! Hope you love it!

Combine your granola with your dehydrated fruit, and pack into a sealed jar to keep as a snack, cereal, or for a crunch salad topping!
