If it’s not already obvious by now, ✨I’m obsessed✨ with overnight oats! Hope you’re loving them, too!
I started a meal prep company a few years ago, and my initial idea was to make a variety of different overnight oats. I did do that, as well as many other lunch and dinner meals. if I could go back again, and re-do it, I would only do oats!
They’re a black canvas with endless opportunities! Today’s recipe is one of my absolute favorites, and was a very popular one with my meal prep clients!
I originally made this recipe years ago with a jam that I purchased at a farmers market. She used simple ingredients, with no sugar, and it was the best I ever had! I drove around going from store to store to find something that would come close. zero out of three stores had a jam that was made with no added sugar, and natural ingredients. So I decided to make my own.
I didn’t mix this one only because I love the first bite of PB&J with the blueberries in one bite! Totally up to you on mixing!
for the ingredients
-blueberries
-oats
-PB ( I use Trader Joe’s Valencia PB plain-creamy, no salt)
-jelly or jam of your choice (I used a homemade Mixed berry: raspberry, blackberry, cherry, and blueberry)
-chia seeds
-almond milk
in each jar, add:
-1/2 c. Oats
-3/4-1c. Almond milk
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1tsbp PB
-1 tbsp jam/jelly
-1/3 c. Blueberries
They are ready to eat the next day and are served cold! They can sit in the fridge for up to 5 days!
hope you love them!
