I never liked eating oatmeal until I started adding in some super delicious toppings like chia seeds, fruit, and PB! Now I eat these every.single.day.

I am an artist so I look at everything from that perspective. When I think of oatmeal, I see a blank canvas with endless opportunities for creation! I have a MILLION different oatmeal recipes that I'm so excited to share with you. This one is a standard, cannot-go-wrong, tasty meal!
I have so many mason jars because I used them for my meal prep company in 2017, but you absolutely can make overnight oats without mason jars!
A large glass cup or bowl works fine, and you can even just use plastic wrap or tin foil to cover, or your favorite plastic containers.
These are so simple to make and you can make up to 5 at once to enjoy for your week ahead. I love that I can just grab these and run out the door with a delicious breakfast. Or, eat them as soon as I wake up half asleep!
Overnight oats are intended to be eaten cold, straight from the fridge, but they don't have to be! The oats soak in the nut milk which allows them to "cook" and makes the most delicious texture. If you want your oats warm, you can easily pop them in the microwave, or heat them up stovetop.
Ingredients
Storage Jars/Bowls, etc.
Oatmeal (Rolled. Old Fashioned Oats work best!!)
Nut Milk (I've been using Macadamia Milk)
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Banana
Peanut Butter
Optional : Vanilla Protein Powder
Steps:
In each mason jar, or bowl, add:
1/2 cup oats
3/4 cup Nut Milk
Cinnamon (1 tsp)
Nutmeg (just a dash)
1 tbsp. peanut butter
1/2 or 1 full banana sliced up (this can be added the day of eating for fresher results!!)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional, creates super thick texture, and sweeter flavor, and HIGH protein!)
Stick the lid on and pop in refrigerator! These are good for up to 5 days!
Enjoy :)
